Questions before you book
Timing, leases, washing, and film choice. What changes a price is on the pricing page. The statute lives on the law page.
A sedan with clean glass is often a few hours in the bay, not a multi-day repair. A four-door car with old film, a rear defroster, or a glass roof takes longer. The quote includes a time for that vehicle.
Plan on the same visit, measured in hours, unless removal of baked-on film or a damaged panel stretches it. You will get the estimate before the car is booked.
After the cure time you are given at install. That time is part of the handoff because film, temperature, and humidity change it. Rolling early is how edges lift.
Not until the cure window has passed. A wash, a squeegee, or an ammonia glass cleaner on fresh film is a common way to mark it.
Many leases allow tint if the glass is returned to the condition the contract requires, which can mean removal before turn-in. The lease controls. Ask the lessor. Film can be removed later as its own service. The studio does not interpret the contract for you.
Pick the job first. Heat points to ceramic. A middle budget points to carbon. A short ownership points to dyed film. Then pick a percentage the front doors can meter legally. The comparison and the percentage guide split those choices.
Best is the film that matches heat, budget, and how long you will keep the car. This site does not rank a single brand as the winner.
No. Mobile and on-site installs are not a confirmed service. The form is for a studio quote in Houston.
No lifetime warranty is stated on this site. If the film you buy includes a manufacturer warranty, that document governs it, and you should read it.
