Tesla glassModel 3, Model Y, and the glass roof
Tesla window tinting for Houston owners of Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X.

What owners are usually booking
Most of this work is a Model 3 or a Model Y. Model S and Model X are the same kind of work and are quoted on their own glass. A newer Model Y is still quoted from the car itself.
AQBECO Precision Tint is not a Tesla-authorized shop. Nothing on this page is a partnership, a warranty from Tesla, or a claim that film will not affect a factory glass warranty. Ask Tesla about the glass warranty before film goes on if that paperwork matters to you.
Model 3
The Model 3 has a large rear window and a glass roof on many builds. Side glass is often already shaded from the factory, so a 35% film can meter darker than 35. The legal number is the meter with the film and the glass together. Rear glass can be darker than the front doors.
Model Y
The Model Y adds more glass and, on many cars, a bigger roof. Roof film is about heat. It is not the windshield. The windshield still follows the Texas visor-strip and clear-UV rules. Model Y front window tint and rear window tint are different panels with different legal limits.
Film and price
Ceramic is the common request because the glass area collects heat. Carbon is available. A Tesla is quoted from its glass, including roof panels and the electronics along the edges. A published Tesla package price is not on this site. See what changes the price.
Installation
Panels are cut around the frit and the defroster. Roof glass is filmed from inside the cabin. You should plan to leave the car, not to wait in the driver’s seat. Cure time still means the door glass stays up.

Questions
There is no universal Model 3 shade. Front doors must meter at 25% VLT or higher in Texas. Rear glass can be darker. Factory tint means the box number and the meter will not match.
Yes. Roof film is a heat panel. It does not change the windshield rule.
It depends on the glass and the film. Use the quote form. This site does not publish a Tesla price.
